VISIOLAB produced a full content suite for Velesto Energy at OGA 2024. This multi-layered project demonstrated Velesto Energy’s innovations and capabilities in the oil and gas sector, engaging event delegates and an online audience.
Project Overview

Velesto Energy approached VISIOLAB with a clear goal: to showcase their cutting-edge operations and technologies at OGA 2024. They needed a wide range of content that would visually communicate their expertise in the oil and gas industry, engage trade show attendees, and extend their reach through online channels. The project required high-end production, including a 360º virtual tour of their offshore drilling rig, immersive 3D animations, daily event coverage, and social media content to ensure continuous audience interaction throughout the event.

Project Challenges

Velesto Energy’s primary challenge was to present their complex drilling technologies and offshore operations in a visually compelling and easily digestible format for a diverse audience. They also needed to create a seamless, immersive experience that could educate potential clients, industry professionals, and students, both at the trade show and through digital platforms.

VISIOLAB devised a multi-pronged content strategy, aimed at solving these pain points:

  1. Simplified Technical Content: Through the use of 3D animation explainer videos, we simplified complex drilling processes, making them understandable for non-experts.
  2. Interactive Experience: The 360º drilling rig virtual tour offered an immersive ‘day-in-the-life’ experience of offshore work, giving trade show attendees and online viewers a first-hand look at the scale and operations of Velesto’s rigs.
  3. Constant Engagement: Daily social media content, live event coverage, and themed screensavers helped Velesto maintain continuous visibility and engagement with their audience throughout OGA 2024.

Project Strategy

VISIOLAB executed a comprehensive content production plan that spanned multiple platforms and mediums:

  • Corporate Video: We produced a dynamic corporate video highlighting Velesto Energy’s vision, values, and achievements. This became the centerpiece of their booth at OGA 2024.
  • 3D Drilling Animation Explainer: A detailed, visually appealing 3D animation that broke down the intricate drilling processes Velesto employs. This was crucial in simplifying their technical operations for a broader audience.
  • 360º Virtual Tour: Using cutting-edge technology, we created an immersive virtual tour of Velesto’s offshore drilling rig, showcasing key areas of the rig such as the helideck, living quarters, command room, and drilling floor. This interactive tour was featured at their OGA booth and on digital platforms, educating viewers about offshore life.
  • 3D Animation Logo, Tagline, and Theme Screensavers: We designed eye-catching animated logo sequences and screensavers that incorporated Velesto’s tagline and theme, reinforcing their branding across all digital touchpoints.
  • Event Coverage: VISIOLAB provided comprehensive event coverage, capturing the highlights of Velesto’s participation in OGA 2024. This included photography, videography, and live updates across social media platforms.
  • Daily Social Media Content: Throughout the event, we produced daily content, including videos, images, and updates, keeping Velesto’s audience engaged both onsite and online.

Project Execution

The content we created not only captured the attention of OGA attendees but also significantly boosted Velesto Energy’s online visibility:

  • Increased Engagement: The 360º virtual tour became a standout feature, attracting hundreds of visitors to their booth and receiving positive feedback from trade show delegates.
  • Expanded Reach: Our social media content helped Velesto connect with a broader audience, increasing their follower base and driving traffic to their website and virtual tour.
  • Brand Elevation: The cohesive branding through 3D animations, screensavers, and explainer videos strengthened Velesto’s brand identity, positioning them as innovators in the oil and gas industry.

WST 2040 - Water Sector Transformation 2040

Collaborative video production for WST2040, uniting ministries, agencies, and industry players to transform the water sector.
Project Overview

Our video production project has two main challenges. Firstly, we need to understand and capture the essence of the national water strategy, which was developed by a diverse group of stakeholders including scientists, experts, industry players, policymakers, and thinkers. Our goal is to present this strategy in a way that is easy for a broad audience to understand, from the general public to policymakers. This means we have to explain complex ideas in simple terms and use visuals that clearly convey the main messages.

Secondly, we have to navigate a large network of stakeholders, including more than 10 agencies, 1 ministry, and various experts. We have to take into account the opinions and input from all of these stakeholders within a short 3-month production period. This involves managing different perspectives, incorporating feedback, and making sure the final video reflects the shared vision of all the stakeholders involved.

Despite these challenges, we are committed to creating a video that captures the important aspects of the national water strategy and resonates with a wide audience. We will carefully plan, communicate effectively, and work hard to overcome these obstacles and deliver a video that truly represents the transformative vision of our stakeholders.

Project Challenges

Our project strategy to overcome these challenges involves several key approaches:

  1. We will deeply understand and simplify the national water blueprint, making it easier for everyone to grasp its concepts and goals. By breaking down complex ideas into clear and straightforward language, we can ensure that the strategy is accessible to a wide range of individuals.
  2. We will actively engage and collaborate with all stakeholders involved. By actively involving them in the process, we can gather their valuable insights and ideas, creating a more inclusive and well-rounded video.
  3. To ensure efficiency, we have established a structured production timeline. This timeline allows us to carefully plan and execute each step of the content creation and review process, avoiding unnecessary delays and ensuring smooth progress.
  4. We will incorporate iterative feedback and review cycles to incorporate stakeholder input. By seeking input and feedback at different stages of production, we can make necessary adjustments and improvements, ensuring that the final video meets the expectations and requirements of all stakeholders.
  5. Rigorous quality assurance and accuracy checks are an essential part of our approach. We will thoroughly examine the video to maintain the highest standards of quality and accuracy, ensuring that the content is reliable and trustworthy.
